Golden Chinese Algae Eater

(Above : My algae eater. Photo taken in my tank.)

Say hello to my algae eater. He is a golden variety of Chinese algae eaters. They don’t just live in China, despite the name. They live in other parts of the Far East, such as India and Indonesia.
I never name my fish because if they die, it would be more personal if they had a name. But he is very hardy, he has been living in the tank for almost a year now, and he’s holding out fine. But he is a little aggressive, but not too much. They grow maybe around 3 inches or less so they’re reasonable fish. Mine is even trained so he’s quite the companion. But be carefull. They are delicate and it's common they starve because they need special food. Feed them algae discs from companies like Hikari Tropical or Wardly. Also, like the name suggests, they eat algae fresh. You can leave the tank lights on more than usual to have algae grow. But to much algae can take over the tank and kill fish.

That's all, folks!
